Contest for tactical gear design!

We noticed that a lot of people designs and makes their own equipment, often introducing very interesting solutions.
We would like to invite you all to cooperate and participate in the competition, thanks to which we wish to promote unconventional designs and make a lot of interesting ideas available to greater audience.

Please familiarize yourself with the rules and participate. :)

The contest "Tactical equipment design"

1. General Provisions

1.1. Goal

The contest aims to stimulate people who design their own tactical equipment and promote ingenious practices in this regard.

1.2. Regulations

The contest “Tactical equipment design" is organized on the basis of these Regulations and in accordance with Polish law.

1.3. Organizer

The contest is organized by:

- CHAKRA Pawel Scibiorek, Ul. Szafrana 4, 30-363 Krakow, POLAND, VAT no 872-232-53-65

2. Competition rules

2.1. Participants

The competition is open to adults. Minors may participate in the contest only with the written consent of parents or legal guardians.

2.2. The terms and manner of submission of projects

Projects for the contest can be submitted until 31 January 2012

The results will be published no later than 14 days after settlement of the competition.

Submitting projects to the contest can by done ONLY electronically via e-mail sent to the address: konkurs@sagear.eu

The projects submitted by other means will not be evaluated and will not take part in the contest.

Each author may submit any number of projects.

In submission to contest there must be following statement:

‘I accept regulations and agree to process my personal data in order to organization of the competition and for marketing purposes. I agree to receive unsolicited commercial material under the Law on Provision of Services by e-mail.

I am a sole author of the sent project.

I consent to the processing of personal data in accordance with the Law on Protection of Personal Data (Dz.U.Nr.133 position 883).

I hereby consent to the use by the Competition Organizers projects submitted at any time and form for the purpose of promoting the Competition.

If you reward a project I agree to transfer to the Organizer copyrights to the project in the following fields of use: in the preservation and reproduction on the market, modification, in the making of copies based on the design and marketing of the copies produced upon the project.’

Submissions without this statement will not be taken into account.

Projects submitted without the author's personal data will not take part in the competition.

2.3 Form of the project:

We accept projects prepared by the following guidelines:

- Scan of freehand drawing, readable in following formats: jpg, gif, tiff, bmp, psd, pcx, pdf;

- Computer design (formats: dwg, 2cd, skp);

- Graphic part of design must be readable, identifying at least approximate dimensions, and should include not only ready product, but also important components.

- The descriptive part of the project should include a brief description of the functions as well as description of innovative product features.

2.4 Projects

To participate in the Contest may be submitted only projects which:

a. does not affect the rights, particularly copyright and patent, of any other entities;

b. does not violate the principle of fair competition, do not threaten the credibility of the trade or good name of others;

c. for production of which are not necessary the components which are subject to special permission to trade or possess according to Polish law.

2.5. Policy of evaluation and selection of winners.

Each of the jurors will award from 1 to 10 points to each of the projects submitted for the competition. Three projects with the highest total score will receive respectively first, second and third prize.

In the case of outstanding projects, which would not qualify for the award-winning three, the jury may award special prizes.

2.6. Awards

The contest will be awarded three awards for projects with the highest total score.

First prize: A one copy of product made upon final project and a coupon for shopping in sagear.eu store for the amount of 250,00 PLN.

Second Prize: A one copy of product made upon final project and a coupon for shopping in sagear.eu store for the amount of 150,00 PLN.

Third Prize: A one copy of product made upon final project and a coupon for shopping in sagear.eu store for the amount of 100,00 PLN.

And special awards, discretional to the Jury.

2.7. Jury

Assessment will be carried by designers employed by the organizer.

Each of the judges will issue their own, independent verdict.

Jury's verdict is final.

3. Final Provisions

3.1. The organizers reserve the right to remove form the contest projects which are incompatible with the norms of social coexistence, violate the rights of third parties or Polish law. Decision to remove such projects is second to none and final.

3.2. The Organizer reserves the right, that he cannot be held responsible for events preventing the proper conduct of the Contest, which he was not able to predict, or which could not prevent, in particular in the case occurrence of random events including force majeure.

3.3. Those who will receive prizes worth over 760,00 PLN are required to pay a tax of 10% of winning prizes by way of excise  of income. Taxes on prizes must be paid no later than the date of their receipt.

3.4. The organizers reserve the right to change the provisions of this Regulations in case of changes of legislation or other significant events affecting the organization of the contest.

3.5. The contest is not subject to the provisions of the Act of 29 July 1992 on games and mutual betting (Journal of Laws of 2004 No. 4, item. 27, as amended).

3.6 These Regulations shall enter into force on the date of commencement of the competition and force until its completion.
